Dandelion fluff, seeds produced by the common weed known as the dandelion, are light, pouffy, and float on the air like snowflakes. Yet, they’re produced by a plant despised and derided as a weed. It’s prolific, hardy, and its roots grow deep.
As children, we picked these flowering weeds and proudly presented bright yellow bouquets to our mothers, grandmothers, girlfriends or just put them in jars of water to admire. When the plant produced its seed head, we eagerly plucked them. We tightly closed our eyes, made a wish, softly blew on the fluff, and watched the white cottony spikes scatter in the wind taking our dreams with them.
When did we stop appreciating the simple pleasures of life? This is a place of renewal, an opportunity to focus on achieving dreams, being the best version of ourselves, and rediscovering the joys of scattering dandelion fluff. Welcome to Dandelion Fluff.
