We’re relational creatures gravitating to others in times of joy, stress, and grief. When we need to make decisions, we seek advice from trusted friends and family members. Who do you seek out for wisdom and support? Who is in your circle of trust?
You may have interconnecting support groups or a dedicated posse of friends that are your “go-to” for all of life’s ups and downs. Maybe you’ve labeled certain people as your “expert” for particular issues—pigeonholed. Are you in transition, tweaking your circle of wisdom and trust? As we grow and move through life, so do our friends and expectations. Sometimes our confidants grow with us, sometimes they don’t.
Your crew is populated with your most trusted and valued friends. They have the potential to influence your life choices. Choose wisely. (Proverbs 13:20)
