Are you a planner or do you wing it? In your relationships, do you make all the travel arrangements and plans or is your partner or friend the “travel agent” and “event coordinator?” Not everyone has the desire or knack for taking care of the specialized details required for trips, engagements, or even just the weekly schedule. Appreciate the roles your partners and friends play in your alliances and share this with them.
I am profoundly curious about the workings of relationships. It fascinates me how two people, whether we are discussing a romantic partnership, a business partnership, or a friendship, interact. Sometimes the pieces fit together perfectly, creating a beautiful picture. Other times there are ripples and ridges because they don’t quite interlock. Other times the pieces are from two different puzzles, and you can see they’re not going to fit together at this time, but maybe they will in the future. (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12)
Your life is a puzzle of so many people who will complement and possibly complete you. Remember to show them they are valued.
