Scrolling Through The Past

One of my favorite options on a cell phone is the camera function. It’s available for practical applications and capturing moments in time. I also appreciate being able to save memes, quotes, and encouraging messages. I’ve discovered that my photos and memes chronicle more about me than I thought.

As I scrolled through the photo album on my phone, I was reminded of times of joy, strength, stress, and confusion. Many of the quotes I have handwritten in a journal, and I can see the same roller coaster of emotions. It’s healthy to realize the strength required to reach out for help as well as to crawl out of the quicksand of anger, stress, and fear . (Deuteronomy 31:8)

Tomorrow is a new day to take on the world. You’re stronger today than you were yesterday.
