Every time I click into an ad or a reel in Facebook or an article in my Chrome news feed, the algorithm in those applications quickly adjusts to meet what they determine are my current interests. If I don’t like the recent update offered, it seems to take an inordinate amount of effort to change the algorithm. What do you think it takes to change the algorithms of your mind?
It has long been believed that the mind is a complex computer, at least since we’ve had computers. As with any computer program, careful thought needs to be given to the outcome of the programming. You need clean, virus-free coding for success. This isn’t complicated, but it does need thoughtful planning to achieve the planned output and without having to spend time changing the algorithm.
As we begin to reprogram the algorithms in our mind, we need to know the end goal in order to plot the path to get there. Tomorrow we’ll begin on the first program. (Philippians 4:8)
