Have you ever been stuck in the mud? How about the snow? The difficulty of extracting yourself from the problem lies in the vehicle you’re driving. Life’s problems aren’t much different.
We all have problems, difficulties, hardships, and crises. There is no way to avoid them unless you live in a vacuum. So, you equip yourself to handle them in the event of something happening. Sounds easier said than done. I understand—been there, done that. However, you are allowed to react to the situation: get angry, cry, have a pity party, pitch a tantrum. But you do have to face the obstacle and deal with it, there’s no avoiding it. Hey, you don’t have to face it alone, that’s not a requirement.
The next time you find yourself in the mud of life’s challenges, process the grief (you’re allowed) and look deep inside yourself for the strength and resolve to get through. Don’t forget to grab on to your support group. (Romans 8:31)
