When you look at the daytime sky on a sunny, cloudless day, you see blue for miles. The stars are still there, suspended in the universe, amazing for anyone to see. We just can’t see them.
“In the midst of darkness, light persists.” Mahatma Gandhi, Speech (1947)
A cancer diagnosis is devastating. I could have dwelled in the darkness. Instead, I chose to run to the light. The darkness of this dreadful disease illuminated the beauty of my life, my family, the strength and warrior spirit of the women fighting alongside me, my Teal Warrior Sisters. I choose not to be eclipsed by cancer. (Matthew 5:14-16)
You can make the choice to seek the light in dark times or dwell in the darkness.
