Not everyone’s idea of an adventure is the same. For some, it’s a grand tour; others, it’s camping in a beautiful national park; still others enjoy a cultural exploration of museums and art galleries. This is your journey to grow, expand your horizons, and possibly find peace.
Each adventure adds something new to your life. I’ve traveled all over the world through my joy of reading. There are so many places that I want to visit because I’ve read about them. Some places I’ve had the extreme pleasure of visiting and the joy to experience firsthand; they surpassed my expectations. There are other adventures that were about challenging myself physically as well as mentally. I’m planning that next adventure, walking roads that ancient philosophers and scholars traversed, maybe even a quest that tests my physical limits.
Whatever your idea of an adventure, embrace it with curiosity, excitement, and joy. Open yourself to whatever this new experience has for you (Deuteronomy 31:8).
