A weighty trait. I remember a quote by Ben Kingsley’s character Harry Fertig in “The Confession” from 1999:
“It’s not hard to do the right thing. Once you know what is right, then it’s hard not to do it.”
Powerful words. Once you know what’s right, it weighs on you—legally, morally, and ethically.
No one can give you integrity or take it away. This is who you are at your very core, developed through the choices you make, your actions, your ethics. This is molded by your honesty, principles, your accountability. So much wrapped up in one word, simple yet complex. (Matthew 5:6)
Protect your integrity as a treasure. Its value is beyond measure.
