Another month, 152 days, checked off the calendar. The now infamous list *sigh* is still there with items that were important enough to make the cut in January. Maybe you’ve worked on one or two, maybe you haven’t and you’re looking for a reason to start. There’s no better time to start than right now.
Honestly, I don’t make lists at the beginning of the year with goals, but I did this year. When I told you I revisited and picked up another task, I did. I’m looking at the list again today hoping to take another bite out of what seemed to be a monumental undertaking in January. If I put the time into creating the list, the objectives must have meaning to me. There are eleven goals on my spreadsheet and I’m actively working on five. It doesn’t feel overwhelming because I’m nibbling away, adding one more when I become comfortable handling the newest addition.
Don’t feel overwhelmed by what it takes to reach your goals. Slowly climb the mountain accomplishing one task at a time. Before long, you will have completed what you set out to do this year and can look out from that mountain top and marvel at who you are becoming on this wonderful journey called life. (Romans 12:2)
