Most all we do in life requires some type of effort from us. There are some days when we don’t want to put forth the effort or don’t think it’s worth it. How do you know if you don’t try?
You have to make time and go after what you want or need. That includes relationships. They don’t just happen. They’re like a garden. They require careful cultivation, fertilization, and watering. Your beautiful garden of friends is a labor of love and it shows in the diligent care you invest in your friendships.
Think about how you cultivate the relationships in your life. Are you a diligent gardener, a negligent gardener, or somewhere in between? (James 1:19-20)
