Today we celebrate survivors of cancer. People who have withstood the testing, surgery, and treatment and beaten the odds. Let me tell you, EVERY day that we live despite having cancer is National Cancer Survivor’s Day.
Every day I wake up is a day to celebrate. I might not feel ready to take on the world, but I woke up. Every day I fight for one more day in this war against an enemy that has yet to be conquered. One thing cancer survivors do have is strength, perseverance, and hope; otherwise, we wouldn’t make it through one more day. Do you hear the theme resonating through this message? One more day.
Today and every day one of us walks this earth is National Cancer Survivor’s Day. We celebrate the warrior spirit of survival and the fight to find a cure for all cancers. (Joshua 1:9)
