Do you procrastinate visiting family? Visiting old friends? Have you been putting off that trip to a place you’ve always wanted to see? Do you see the pattern? A life of regrets, regardless of how full you think your life is, is an empty one. You’ll perseverate on the “I wish I had” instead of enjoying the memories of what you actually did do and see. That’s a waste of life.
Most of us don’t have unlimited funds to do anything and everything—that’s not what you need. You need a desire to live without regrets and to think outside the box. There are so many experiences in this life that we put off exploring every day.
Visit those friends and family or call them. Tell your loved ones that you love them every chance you get (tomorrow isn’t guaranteed). Explore amazing places, quirky places, historic places, and national parks. There are incredible sites and experiences just waiting for you (maybe even in your hometown).
Time is the only non-renewable resource—we can’t get it back and we can’t make more. Don’t waste it. Sometimes we don’t get a second chance. (Ephesians 5:15-17)
