Saturday heralded in meteorological spring, the slow rise in temperature from our cold and snowy winter. If you look closely, you’ll see daffodils pushing through the soil, budding out, and ready to blossom. These bright, warm days are invigorating and bring hope.
Spring gives us a chance to do all the things we dreamed about through the dark winter days. Sometimes spring and winter are states of mind and not just actual seasons. We choose how we react to the seasons of the year and the seasons of our life. Each brings with it opportunities to grow, learn, and yes, help others along the way. The mind is more powerful than we credit it for being.
Enjoy this spring day (if it’s cold where you are, embrace joyfulness; spring is on the way). I’m challenging you to begin each day for the rest of the month like a spring day, with hope, positivity, and joy for the future. Don’t let negativity and upsets derail you. Get back on track and embrace your joy. (Isaiah 41:10)
